Scholarships Overview

The scholarships are open to international students who have a level of English fluency equivalent to that achieved by the end of Grade 12 or an IELTS score of 6.5, with no band score lower than 6.0.

To apply, applicants need to demonstrate financial need and provide evidence of education funding from sources other than their home country (this can include family and friends).

Successful applicants must start their course in February 2019 or later; as such there is an opportunity for them to defer study until 2020 should they so wish.

Bachelor’s Program Scholarships

The La Trobe University School of Theology (LTSS) is an ecumenical tertiary institution affiliated with churches and Christian organizations. It provides a range of studies in theology and religious studies and offers the following awards:
– MTh – Master of Theology
– MDiv – Master of Divinity
– Ph.D. – Doctorate in Theology or Religious Studies

Master’s Program Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, English language proficiency, and the applicant’s potential to contribute to the university community. Applicants with disabilities or from indigenous communities may be eligible for special consideration.

Only applicants that have not previously studied at La Trobe University will be considered. Scholarships are not funded by the Australian Government and are subject to change by donor funding levels. Doctoral Program Scholarships

La Trobe offers a variety of scholarships to support your study in any degree or diploma program. Apply by November 1, 2019, to have your application assessed ahead of Round One on January 29, 2020. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and there is no fee to apply.
