We would love for all students with exceptional academic performance and high English language proficiency levels from outside the EU, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region to be considered, so please feel free to submit your application form at any time before September 2020. Applications close on 31 July 2023.
What do I need to know?: To be eligible for this scholarship, you must hold a passport from a country within EMEA and meet our course requirements by either having completed an A-level program or by holding an IB Diploma.

Scholarships and Bursaries
The University of Birmingham offers several scholarships and bursaries to help cover the cost of tuition for undergraduate students. The majority of these are need-based, but there are also several merit-based scholarships available.
For example, if you have achieved high grades in your GCE Advanced Level exams (A levels), you could be eligible for the Carnegie Scholarship; or if you are committed to a degree course in Computing Science or Mechanical Engineering and come from an underrepresented background (such as those who come from an ethnic minority) then you may be eligible for one of our Millennium Scholarships.
